ReShape Medical Inc., a young San Clemente medical device company working on a treatment for obesity, has raised $20 million in a second round of outside funding.
U.S. Venture Partners in Menlo Park led the round. Other participants include existing investors New Leaf Venture Partners and SV Life Sciences.
ReShape earlier raised $8 million in its first equity round.
