Want a surfer on your door? How about a parrot or your favorite country scene in your window? You can order it or
make it yourself at Beveldine LLC in Stanton.
After several decades in the stained glass business, Cynthia Chenier and Alice Delany decided that aficionados - from hobbyists to pros to all-thumbs art fans - needed a one-stop shop. They stocked Beveldine with one of Orange County’s biggest selections of glass and supplies. They made distribution agreements to sell and install doors and windows for several manufacturers.
The partners make custom designs and teach classes for do-it-yourself specialists. They’re trying to build an artists’ community, not hide their secrets, Cynthia says.
“Customers come in and say, ‘I don’t solder so good; can you fix it?’ or “My stained glass window was damaged; can you repair it?’ Our repair work is huge,” she adds.

The pair also get some big assignments: 15 windows for a Frank Lloyd Wright house in Long Beach, an Islamic dome in Orange County.
Diversifying into many services and projects is a survival strategy for tough economic times.
The partners chose their location at 10521 Dale Ave. because it’s across the alley from one of the largest U.S. glass distributors. They did the interior of their shop themselves with the help of Cynthia’s husband who is a general contractor.

Thet do not have the biggest line os supplies that honor goes to long time supplier Hollanders glass!! Get your facts straight!!
Just to clarify! We are the biggest retail store of glass located directly across the parking lot from Hollanders (the biggest Wholesalers of glass). We have the convenience of purchasing anything for our customers who are unable to purchase from Hollanders because they do not have a business.
