The Orange County chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth will honor three local companies at its annual awards event 5 p.m. May 21
at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Newport Beach.
The awards recognize Orange County companies that have demonstrated outstanding growth in their respective industries. This year’s winners are:
- Green Award: Fuscoe Engineering, Irvine, land development
- Global Award: PADI, Rancho Santa Margarita, scuba diving training
- Spotlight Award: U.S. Education, a division of DeVry Inc., Mission Viejo, educational services.
In addition the chapter will present the Nick Yocca Award of Distinction & Merit to member Jim Tucker, Tucker Partners in Corona del Mar, for contributions and support to the Association for Corporate Growth.
“We’re very excited to be hosting the annual awards event,” said chapter President Tracy Albert, managing director of Houlihan Lokey. “With the economy where it is, this year’s honorees are particularly noteworthy for continuing to grow their gbusineses and thrive in difficult times.”

Why do you need an award when you’re already reaping greater revenues from organizational growth? Sounds like a farce to me.
