O. C. company named among top innovators in the Americas

WiSpry Inc., an Irvine wireless technology company, is one of 15 top innovators in the Western Hemisphere in the 2009 Mobile Innovation Global Award Competition. The award is given by the GSM Association.
WiSpry will compete against two other companies June 3 and 4 in Atlanta, Ga. in the Most Innovative Wireless Device-Centric Technology category. The winner will compete in the global finals in Barcelona, Spain in February 2009.
WiSpry designs and sells radio frequency seimiconductor products for mobile phones, laptops and other wireless communicatins products.
GSMA created the Mobile Innovation Global Awards to encourage breakthrough technology, applications and services.
“It is an honor for an organization such as GSMA to recognize the value of our products and technology leadership here at WiSpry,” said President and CEO Russ Garcia.
