That’s the result of Deloitte & Touche’s annual search for the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Orange County. The list is based on the previous five years’ revenue growth. To qualify, companies must have proprietary intellectual property or technology.
ISTA’s performance was more than double that of second-place FireSocket, San Clemente maker of business relationship management software, whose 4,529% spurt is nothing to sneeze at.
Rounding out the top 10 are:

- MegaPath, Inc., Costa Mesa, managed IP communications services, 909%
- Smith Micro Software Inc., Aliso Viejo, communications software for the wireless industry, 664%
